At the Singapore International School (Hong Kong) [SISHK], the only overseas school set up by the Singapore Ministry of Education, students undergo a Singapore-based curriculum that prepares them for the International GCSE at the end of Year 10 and the IBDP examinations at the end of Year 12. YCIS Hong Kong – Secondary is a bilingual international school serving students from early childhood to secondary school education. In the secondary school, Years 7–9 follow an international curriculum based on the English National Curriculum, while Years 10–11 prepare for IGCSEs (Cambridge CAIE). Years 12–13 focus on the IB Diploma Programme, with a one-year IB Pathway (IBP) available for students joining from other schools. The secondary school has around 1,200 students, most of whom are bilingual Chinese learners. The average IB score for the class of 2024 is 35.

The second annual Hong Kong University Expo will be held at SISHK on 5 September 2026. Following on from the huge success of last year’s Expo the brilliant organising team of school counselors are putting together another expo with even more universities. To keep costs down and enable more institutions to attend we will begin to cycle through our organising team’s schools with a new school hosting the event every year. 2026 will be the turn of Singapore International School at their site at 23 Nam Long Shan Rd, Aberdeen, Hong Kong.
